ABSTRACT

Mineral fuels are among the non-renewable natural resources. For this reason, would be addressed in a responsible and rational use. Mineral fuels are among the so called strategic raw materials, the use of which is essential to the national economy and energy security. Raw materials base in Slovakia as regards energy raw materials consists mainly of brown coal, lignite and uranium, part of the oil and natural gas. To determine the prospects for the use it is necessary to know the quantity of reserves and the economic and potentially economic. This article deals with the issue of determining the ratio economic reserves and potentially economic reserves, in respect of the technical mining conditions and natural circumstances. In the process of preparing the development of energy fuels is necessary to assess the bearing of these materials in terms of techno-economic, elaborated by technical and economic study to define the technical conditions of utilization of the bearing in relation to the economic parameters of the extraction and recovery of the source. The examination of the usability study of usability bearing reserves that detailed evaluated environmental aspects, social, economic and health impacts associated with the extraction of mineral and movement of raw materials, processing and refining of the fuels and the excavation deposits reclamation and disposal of unusable buildings and mine works.
