ABSTRACT
98% of total explosives used for civil uses are consumed by Polish mining plants, with 2.5 thousands of tonnes of explosives used in bituminous coal mines yearly. Bituminous mines are now facing the necessity of implementing a new project for preparing a system for recording the distribution of blasting materials. The execution of projects related to the implementation of new technologies at each organization, with Polish bituminous coal mines in particular, apart from problems related to legal, economical, technical and technological aspects, also has a significant impact on organizational matters concerning the personnel employed. Focusing on the issue of implementing a procedure for recording and monitoring of blasting material, which the procedure concerns blasting personnel, this article presents the impact of the solutions implemented on stress intensity among this personnel group. The article discusses the process of realizing the project for identification of blasting materials for use in bituminous mines, basing on a selected mine located in Silesia, and its impact on stress among its personnel. The research methods applied in the article are: elements of project management, critical analysis of literature, diagnostic method, interview and observation, survey
Keywords: recording explosive materials, bituminous coal mines, blasting materials, stress intensity factors among blasting personnel, occupational stress
