Studying of regularities of forming of fresh underground waters of the Akmola region of Northern Kazakhstan allowed to reveal the main regularities of distribution of fresh underground waters against the background of waters of the raised mineralization. The role of tectonic violations in forming and distribution of underground waters influence, and also influences of a lithology of the water containing deposits on nature of circulation and the chemical composition of underground waters is established. Distinctions in the conditions of forming of underground waters on watersheds and in hollows are revealed and also areas of azonal underground waters and sites dated for them perspective for carrying out search and prospecting works for water supply of agricultural objects are revealed.
As the main scientific methods of researches are used: decryption of satellite images; the analysis of results of earlier performed hydrogeological and hydrological works and generalization of the published and share materials on a cartographical basis, carrying out field works on studying of hydrogeological and geoecological features of the territory.
As a result of the carried-out works the areas for production of exploration are allocated for water, sites of river valleys and valleys with a temporary drain, favorable for the organization of artificial completion of inventories of underground waters, and also sources of the existing and potential pollution of underground waters are determined in case of their use.
The carried-out works are directed on for search of additional sources of water supply. settlements of the Akmola region inventories of high-quality drinking underground water in the conditions of accruing deficit of water resources because of reducing a superficial drain against the background of quality degradation of a surface water.
