ABSTRACT

Exploitation of groundwater deposits exerts an influence on the state of the hydrogeological objects and the environment at large. The special study is required for the areas with the limited-use surface water. Province of Kyzylorda is one of such regions in Kazakhstan. Its water supply is mainly realized by use of underground waters of Kyzylzharminski deposit.
Methods of mathematical modeling play an important part in the process of studying the hydrogeological objects, which are subject to the effect of high technology-induced loads. For the evaluation of the operating influence of the underground water deposits upon the state of the hydrogeological objects it is expedient to create permanent mathematical models of hydrogeological conditions.
This article describes the methods of creation and use of permanent mathematical models of hydrogeological conditions of the groundwater deposits. The methods were tested, using the example of the creation of a permanent model of the Kyzylzharminski deposit.
The model is created with the purpose of obtaining operative forecasts of the changes of hydrogeological conditions under the effect of water intake, and providing recommendations for the mitigation of its negative environmental impact. The modeling process has a cyclic pattern. New data are introduced into the model, and its calibration is made. A number of tasks related to forecasting the changes of hydrogeological conditions over time under the effect of various anthropogenic factors are solved.
The results of modeling have shown that exploitation of underground waters in the volumes, approved by the State Committee for Reserves of the Republic of Kazakhstan, shall produce no negative impact upon the environmental conditions. The proposed methods have proved to be efficient and may be used for the evaluation on a long-term basis of the effect of high technology-induced loads upon the state of a hydrogeological object.
