ABSTRACT

Currently, there is a growing need of the population visit forests for recreation. However, all visits are associated with higher recreational pressure. while many forest areas subjected to trampling, their area increases and the condition worsens. For forest plots is necessary to assess degradation of forests, especially the most visited on the banks of ponds. After the study, the process of assessing the impact of recreation will allow you to choose activities to restore and improve the condition of forest vegetation of coastal forests.
The objects for study were located in the coastal zone of the Volga river on the territory of the Republic of Mari El. Resolved the following issues:
1. Identify the main features of the natural regeneration of the forest in the study area.
2. Examine the condition of the living ground vegetation, under the influence of recreational exposure.
Used the standard methods of studying vegetation, they represent the lower tier of vegetation (undergrowth, young trees and living ground cover).
Accounting of natural regeneration on sample plots showed that the number of trees is reduced in those places where the soil is susceptible to trampling and erosion.
In surface cover, a marked decline in the percent cover and occurrence of forest species.. Typical forest herbaceous plants are quite easily damaged during the small or medium loads. They are worse than weeds and meadow are adapted to the conditions of high anthropogenic impact. The restoration of herbaceous vegetation of forests is slow.
The results show that currently requires the implementation of environmental and forestry works aimed at improving the state of forest phytocenoses. For this purpose, the places of public entertainment is necessary to achieve minimal differences of normative and actuals.
