Transportation of mined material is subject to increasingly higher demands on the use of drives for different parts of conveyors, which cause a steady increase in the consumption of energy and complexity control of these devices. Reduction of the energy demand can be achieved by using new efficient technology or replacing the complicated drives by simple mechanisms.
This article discusses about possibility of using basic physical phenomena for the material transport. For the transportation of these materials can be used, for example gravitational forces on an inclined plane or a lever mechanism, using a counterweight. The article describes the movement of the trolley which is designed to transport the required material without the influence of external forces, ie. transport is realized on the inclined plane. There is detailed description of a working place, where occurs to the rotation of the trolley around a vertical axis. This rotational motion is caused by linear movement of the loading device, the conversion of linear motion to rotary motion is provided by a sliding mechanism. All movements in the working position are realized with maximum utilization of the effects of gravity.
