ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to study chlorophyll content of seedlings, saplings in relation to installation and adjusting them on degraded land in Western Romania, specifically in the Anina, UP III Steierdorf. Follow chlorophyll content was made on 20 hectares in 10 permanent sample surfaces. Was harvested material (seedlings) of land during the growing season, is in June the 3 years of research, then laboratory tests were performed. Chlorophyll content of leaves was measured by SPAD-502 portable chlorophylls meter (Konica Minolta, Osaka, Japan), non-destructive method for measuring optical absorbance at two wavelengths chlorophyll.
It was used the following methods: bibliographic documentation in the traditional form; direct observations, measurements and laboratory analyzes; theoretical analysis (including statistical calculations) and logical interpretation of results. The research was conducted in 2011-2014. The method used was to install artificially forest vegetation by planting, were used bare-root seedlings as forest cultures are obtained using seedlings are more resistant to adversity than those installed by crops. Formula 6PIN2SL2PAM afforestation was chosen. Follow chlorophyll content was done in 10 permanent sample surfaces. Material was harvested from the field during the growing season, is in every June of the 3 years of research, then we performed laboratory tests.
This research presents concrete measures to reduce the risk of further degradation of land in the dumps, using corresponding forest seedlings.
