ABSTRACT
Thermal comfort of the indoor environment is the condition that expresses satisfaction with the thermal environment and can be assessed by objective and subjective evaluation. Light-weight timber-frame passive houses, which do not have adequate accumulation can have the problems with the optimum solution of the thermal load of the interior during the summer. The aim of this article is analysis of indoor environment and energy efficiency of the timber-frame passive house. The analysis is made on the base of numerical simulation, analytical calculation and experimental measurement. Numerical simulation is solved by the Design Builder software. Analytical calculation is solved by the software Simulation. Experimental measurements of the indoor and exterior parameters (external and indoor air temperature) are realized at the experimental passive timber-frame house in the area of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Results of theoretical analysis and experimental measurements are compared and evaluated.
