THE GENESIS AND ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY MANAGERS CERTIFICATION PROCESS IN POLAND

ABSTRACT
This article presents 15 years of experience in the system of granting property manager licenses in Poland. It is presented both in terms of quantity and quality. The time horizon of the analysis covers the period 1997 - 2013, the period from the date of defining the profession of real estate manager which took place in the in the Land Management Act, to the present. For the purposes of the study authors analyzed nearly 30 acts directly regulating issues related to the procedure for granting a license of property manager. The survey shows six conditions imposed by legal acts to candidates for property managers, examines their dynamics in the entire study period and analyze correlation between each of them. In addition in contains results of analysis of over 24 000 records from Central Registry of Property Managers.
