POSSIBILITY OF USE OF ZEOLITES AND GAIZE IN REMEDIATION TECHNOLOGIES

ABSTRACT
The analysis of minerals that are widely used as sorbent agents is performed. A group of amorphous natural sorbent agents is considered in the form of sedimentary opal
cristobalite rocks. Sorbent characteristics of gaize and clinoptilolite are studied in the
article; and sorbent exchange capacity is revealed in terms of static and dynamic
conditions.
