ABSTRACT
This paper tries to clarify through experimental results, the influence of fluid temperature on the variation of the electrical parameters, operating temperature and effieciency of a miniature portable proton exchange membrane fuel cell with the capacity of 200 mW. In achieving the intended purpose, the distilled water, used to produce the hydrogen needed for the operation of the fuel cell, was used at different temperatures. At first, the distilled water had the room temperature, namely 25°C, whereafter it was warmed to 30°C, then cooled to 20°C and heated again to a temperature of 35°C. The results obtained from experiments may be applied to high capacity fuel cells, therefore achieving improvement in their performance.
