ABSTRACT

This paper presents different kinds of data used in hydraulic modelling, flood hazard and risk maps creation from the surveyor’s point of view. The possibilities of multi-source data application were presented considering the issues of the decision related to appropriate acquisition source, data integration and the problem of the voluminous datasets processing for the improvements in effective hydraulic modelling. Such issues are very actual in the context of the implementation of Floods Directive recommendations in EU Member, especially in activities of flood hazard and flood risk maps creation.
