ABSTRACT
In present, e-Learning means an open method to find those things in which there are
interested. Many universities in the world already had set up such new methods to learn.
The pointed issue of this paper is to describe a possible succesfully application of the e-
Learning in the domain of land surveying.
We emphasized the advantages of this educational model and the weaknesses, and the
Areas of interest for e-Learning community in Romania.
It is described the Phases of the system development and the phase of the courses design
– case study: the "General Cadastre" course. For our domain we consider that could be
better to use a blended-learning system, because the practical work in cadastre can’t be
developped through e-learning methods. We also present the advantages and
disadvantages of an e-learning system by comparison with a blended-system.
