A PLATFORM SUITABLE FOR IMPLEMENTING AN E-LEARNING SYSTEM - CORE CONDITIONS

ABSTRACT

The article presents the main features on the hardware required for the proper
implementation and functioning of an improved e-learning system in the domain of land
measurement.
It is also presented the basic features that should meet the software platform which may
functioning such a system.
We want to emphasize the main elements of e-learning system: infrastructure, technical
standards, digital content, pedagogical possibilities, institutional development.
In this article are also presented the main characteristics of the AEL e-lerning platform,
developped by a romanian company, the advantages and disadvantages.
