THE ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN FACTORS OF THE IRRIGATED AGRICULTURE IN THE FEDERAL DISTRICTS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
ABSTRACT
The production of agricultural products in Russia is associated with complex natural and climatic conditions. Today up to 80% of the lands need irrigation. Therefore, the expansion of irrigated areas, improving the quality of their conditions, improving of the irrigation technologies and increasing of the production from the irrigated lands will allow not only to meet the needs of the country’s population in agricultural products, but also to increase export of the country, to create of new jobs for the country population, to improve of the settlements.
The article is based on the regional statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for 2013-2016, the correlation-regression analysis was carried out for each federal district and the dynamics of the qualitative state of irrigated areas, expenditures per hectare of irrigated lands and actually irrigated areas was considered.
The results of analysis will help to develop a program to increase the productive potential of irrigated lands in future.
