This work is devoted to the study and modeling of the structure and properties of silicaresorcinol-formaldehyde hybrid aerogels and of silicon-carbon aerogels obtained on their basis with pyrolysis. Experimental studies for synthesis of hybrid siliconresorcinol-formaldehyde and silicon-carbon composites derived from it were carried out. Conditions of its synthesis (the ratio of reagents, the amount of solvent, etc.) were varied. The study of characteristics includes such experiments as the measurement of thermal conductivity and the process of adsorption of gases in the obtained samples.The existing porous silica-resorcinol-formaldehyde aerogel structures generation methods were studied and supplemented. An algorithm for pyrolysis to obtain siliconcarbon structures was developed. The generation of structures corresponding to the real one allows to model the various properties of aerogels in silico, which saves resources on carrying out costly experiments. The obtained computer structures were compared with real ones according to such criteria as pore size distribution, porosity and apparent density and presented adequacy. Thermal conductivity and gas adsorption for generated structures were developed. The results obtained from computational experiments presented the adequacy between the experimental and modeled values of the studied properties of hybrid aerogels. The generated structures and a computational experiment on the physicochemical properties allow to adjust gelation and drying processes and obtain silicon-resorcinol-formaldehyde and silicon-carbon aerogels with predetermined properties
