PECULIARITIES OF MINERAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN LIBERAL AND MULTISTRUCTURAL ECONOMIES

ABSTRACT
In the paper it is demonstrated that due to mineral resources specificity many mining
industries do not strictly comply with classical liberal economic model and are faced
with the necessity to combine mechanisms of both market and planned economic
models. Besides, it is shown that various combinations of two leading economic models
are present in countries throughout the World. With the help of a generalized structural
model, both similarities and diversities are specified, which exist between mineral
resources management systems in plan-oriented and market-oriented economies.
Keywords: mining industries, mineral resources management, liberal market economy, multistructural economy, institutional structure
