ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS OF DISTRIBUTED ICEDRILL HEATING CONTROL SYSTEM OF MOUNTAIN RECONNAISSANCE DRILLING RIG
ABSTRACT
The article deals with the synthesis of a closed distributed control system for the drill temperature field. The technique is developed on the basis of the the temperature fields control function. The analysis and modeling of the drilling process during the passage of the drill through the variable environment (ice-ground-ice-water-ice) are performed with taking into account the drill heating.
To increase the productivity of the passage, it is proposed to use sectional heating of the drill instead of the existing continuous heating. Heating is carried out by sectional impulse heating elements.
The proposed approach was the basis of the new method, which is confirmed by the patent for the utility model. The resulting equation, simulating the behavior of the temperature field in the ice drill, made it possible to vary the parameters and investigate the behavior of the temperature field in the ice drill under various conditions. An example of the problem of stabilizing the temperature field solution is given. The results of the ice drill temperature field calculation are presented for the case when the ice drill is considered as a closed control system.
As a result of the studies there is mathematically proved possibility of maintaining the drill in a given temperature range at the lowest energy cost.
