MODELING AN UPDATABLE STRUCTURE OF E-LEARNING SITE USING UNIFIED MODELING LANGUAGE
ABSTRACT
The article deals with the modeling of the structure of the e-learning website with the possibility of changing the user interface in accordance with the information needs of users.
The most popular content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS) have many necessary features, including using an uncluttered modern editable interface and configurable LMS front page of the e-learning course. But, as a rule, these systems do not contain the component that would be responsible for the ability to change the graphical user interface based on the analysis of user behavior on the website.
The investigated task is solved by modeling the information system of the website based on object-oriented methodology and UML (Unified Modeling Language), which will allow describing the studied system and identifying requirements for the designed system. In this paper, we propose to build the essential UML diagrams for modeling the structure and object interactions of the site system.
The article considers the analysis and modeling of the structure of the e-learning site, which accumulates various actions of web users and offers change options of GUI elements. It should be pointed out that at the current stage of this study we use Google Analytics tools to collect web user behavior statistics.
