GROUP COMPOSITION OF BITUMOIDS OF THE LOWER MATURE DOMANIC SHALE SAMPLES DEPENDING ON THE DEPTH

ABSTRACT

This work is investigation of the group composition of the bitumoids of Domanic shale deposits (Romashkino oilfield in the Volga-Ural petroleum and gas Basin). The samples were taken from different depths for this well. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the productive deposits are carbonate reservoirs consist of 92 wt% calcite. The extracted kerogen is of type II according to the Van Crevelin diagram, based on the ratio (H / C) and (O / C). It was found that the objects of the study differ in the mass content of bitumoids in them, as well as in the distribution of SARA fraction (saturated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, resins and asphaltenes). The method of matrix-activated MALDI laser desorption/ionization was used. The MALDI method determined that significant changes in the transformation of asphalt-resinous compounds as a function of depth are not observed. According to IR spectroscopy data, it was found that most bitumoids have a low degree of aromaticity and a significantly high content of paraffinic structures. To assess the nature of the processes leading to the formation of polycondensed structures, the degree of condensation of asphaltenes was determined.
