THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHES REGARDING THE QUALITY EXECUTION OF CONCRETE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS AND RISKS ANALYSIS GENERATED BY THESE CONCEALED WORKS

The activities involved in the construction process are characterized by their own level of importance and each must comply with the established monitoring and execution plan, respecting the required specifications, especially in the case of concealed works. According to theoretical research, concealed works are those works or construction elements, which, once completed, can be viewed or inspected with the help of special intervention measures. Concrete is one of the most used construction materials that are found in the components of resistance elements, which is why its non-compliant quality, as well as the technologies of execution of structural elements, determines the appearance of risk sources that may cause non-compliance with fundamental requirements strength and stability. The methodology of the research report consists in the analysis of the risks from the concrete production phase, following the execution stage of the reinforced concrete structural elements, based on worksheets made up of a series of information. These have the role of determining the class of concrete according to the requirements, and at the same time, the worksheets address information regarding the structural element subject to analysis, as well as the ways of investigating it. The sheets contain information about the possible consequences and their impact on the fulfillment of the fundamental requirements, as well as the ways and technologies of investigation on the structural elements analyzed in the use stage of the construction. Regarding the experimental studies, they had the role of physically translating the theoretical research into graphical results, as well as to certify the importance of verifying the quality of the materials used, as well as monitoring the execution of works, especially in the case of elements that become difficult to investigate. The main conclusions of these theoretical and experimental researches associated with the analysis of the risks generated by the execution of concrete structural elements may be applied in order to improve the performance indicators regarding the imposed quality requirements.
